Pollensa Music Festival 2008

Since last year the minorcan baritone, Joan Pons, was appointed artistic director of the Festival after the death of emblematic Eugen Prokop, many things have changed in the concert program. This 47 edition of the Pollensa Music Festival presents more open in terms of styles concerns in the past. Rock, Jazz and gospel airs join the traditional symphonic and opera concerts. For exaple the former singer of the British rock band Supertramp, Roger Hodgson, will visit the Festival on July 13 and the pianist Michel Camilo and his trio will do it on Saturday 19 with hes lattin rhythms of Jazz.
